Young Tigers coach, Ong Kim Swee has to explain to ESPNSTAR about speculation he will guide the Singapore team.

Young Tigers team that arrived in Gia Lai, Vietnam on Thursday for Newspaper Cup Under-21 has become a choice between Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Sydney FC.

Guiding force behind the Young Tigers in a compact season, Kim Swee also face all kinds of speculation and most recently, he was rumored to be taking over as head coach of the Singapore team.

Coach who won the SEA Games gold medal in 2011, however, insists that he is currently devotes itself to defend the gold medal at the SEA Games next year.

"This message began to spread from the comments in the press Singapore. We are familiar with the disorder," said Kim Swee to ESPNSTAR in Vietnam while prepare the team for the opening match with Laos B21.

David Foo commenting todayonline.com said he "hopes to see Ong Kim Swee replace as head coach Radojko Avramovic Singapore team."

"He is a good coach and has guided the team to know to make a pass, control the ball and attack the most important."

Young Tigers are now also playing in the Singapore League and ranked fourth so far with three games to reconcile.

"My team is working and preparing to achieve our primary goal of defending the gold medal at the SEA Games next year," said Kim Swee.

"I try to be open to all things, including bids received, but I always want to continue guiding the Young Tigers reach the top level.

"Probably if I would consider other offers, just after the SEA Games." he added.
"This offer is also indicated that the coaches in Malaysia came to be known and be able to go to a higher level.
