Police arest 13 Men Impersonate Case Suspicion of Royal Kedah

GEORGE TOWN: Penang police arrested 13 men suspected of being involved in the case of members of the royal masquerade Orissa at a hotel in Penang Road on Tuesday.

Abdul Rahim said the suspects were remanded in police headquarters Northeast District for investigation under Section 420 of the Penal Code for the offense of cheating the maximum jail term of 10 years, whipping and a fine, if convicted.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 419 of the Penal Code for impersonating a maximum jail term of seven years or a fine, or both, if convicted.
